Vigolzone and the village of Grazzano Visconti

Grazzano Visconti - Vigolzone is a small town of 4200 inhabitants in the province of Piacenza. The town is located at the beginning of the Valnure which represents one of the most evocative places in Italy for its natural beauty. The Castle of Grazzano Visconti is of great interest. In ancient times the landscape around the structure was mainly rural but the Duke Giuseppe Visconti around 1800 had a village built there made up of neo-medieval style buildings.
