Genazzano - Genazzano is a town in the province of Rome in Lazio. It stands on a spur of volcanic tuff on the sides of which two rivers flow the Moat and the Rio which have made the sides of the structure on which the town extends steep and steep. Palazzo Colonna di Genazzano preserves a chapel inside which was commissioned by Prince Philip in 1616 to enhance the glories of the family. The castle is the result of years of buildings. The international center of contemporary art is housed on the main floor. The castle hosts numerous events such as that of the infiorata, which is held every year on the first Sunday of July. The manifestation of the infiorata dates back to 1883, when Cardinal Vincenzo Vannutelli established the celebration with a solemn procession. The castle hosts a Renaissance dinner in the last week of June in which the Colonna family is represented.
