Marcellinara - Marcellinara, in the province of Catanzaro (Calabria), is a village with a splendid landscape, which embraces both the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea, from an area rich in resources and historical-architectural elements of high importance. The origins of this fantastic village are still unknown, but it is presumed to be very ancient, given the findings of some human artifacts in caves of karst origins.

Cultural and social reference point for the inhabitants of this splendid village is, of course, the Baronial Palace, which hosts events and demonstrations. In the vicinity of this building, there is the Mother Church, dedicated to Maria Santissima Assunta. In the lower part of the town, however, we find the Church of San Nicola, also known as the Church of the Poor. In addition to having historical and cultural resources, Marcellinara is also rich in large and wonderful green spaces, including: the Cocuzzo Park, the Amato River and the Corace River. In a real itinerary in the village of Marcellinara, you cannot miss the taste of the sensational typical products of the place: cod, stew, chilli. A village rich in culture and ancient traditions, Marcellinara is certainly one of the places not to be missed.
