The city of villas, Bagheria

Bagheria - Today we are in Sicily, in the 'city of villas', in the province of Palermo: we are in Bagheria. We begin our visit by admiring Villa Patagonia, also known as Villa dei Mostri for the animal and deformed figures that dot the villa. We continue by visiting the Guttuso, Acciuga and Toy museums and the Pietro Piraino waxworks. Walking through its wonderful alleys we find ourselves in front of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, in neo-Gothic style.
