It dates back to 1600 and there is an inscription that testifies its provenance. One of the main squares is Piazza San Giovanni, where the mother church overlooks, dedicated to the saint who lends its name to the square. It has a single nave and is accompanied by an imposing bell tower. Inside there is the pink marble altar and a series of paintings depicting the Via Crucis. Next to this place of worship there is another not far away, the church of the Santissima Concezione, which preserves some paintings by Palumbo inside. While next to the Town Hall stands the church of the Convent, in Baroque style, now in disuse because it was damaged by the earthquake.
