Casamicciola Terme - Located in the northern part of the island of Ischia, Casamicciola Terme is a town of 8062 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Naples in Campania. The toponym Casamicciola derives from the name of an old sick woman who found healing in the thermal waters of the town. The term Terme was added in 1956 thanks to the abundance of thermal baths in the area.

The church of Sant'Antonio al Mortito is located in the hamlet of Perrone and is dedicated to Sant'Antonio di Padova. On the Mortito hill is the statue of Sant'Antonio, a modeled terracotta sculpture about 3 meters high. The statue was built as a sign of the citizens' devotion to the saint, so they decided to place him in custody of the port. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Santa Maria Maddalena Penitente, was rebuilt in 1896 after an earthquake, has a hall with three naves, a high altar in polychrome marble. One of the most important craft activities on the island is certainly the art of whistle making. The artisan Luigi creates whistles of every size and color, from the most particular to the simplest shapes. In addition to the art of the whistle there is also the art of the nativity scene.
