Termoli - Termoli is a town in the Molise area with a strong tourist vocation. But besides the sea, what can we see curiously in Termoli? For example, the narrowest alley in the entire European continent, called 'A Rejecelle' in dialect, is only 41 centimeters wide. Termoli is a city that also bases its economy on fishing, typical are the trabucchi, constructions on the sea that look like stilts and which are still used for fishing today. However, some have become restaurants that obviously offer fresh fish in a unique location. From Termoli there is also a direct connection by sea to the Tremiti islands. Among the symbolic places of the city is the Cathedral, located in the homonymous square, dedicated to Sanata Maria della Purificazione. Important not only as a place of worship but also for the signs of the Templars, the crosses, still visible on the outer walls. Another symbolic place is the Swabian castle. Termoli, given its proximity to the sea, was also a nerve center during the wars. Particularly in the Second World War when the fleet of General Montgomery landed at the port.
