Gargazzone, a common friend of children

Gargazzone - Gargazzone rises on the banks of the Adige and is surrounded by a green landscape, between the spontaneous nature of the Alps and the abundant local apple orchards. Not surprisingly, the apple is the main product exported from this small town, and it is a fruit that stands out for its quality and taste. To the east of the town, the Rio Eschio descends from the mountains with numerous and spectacular waterfalls, worthy of a visit.

The municipality penetrates the surrounding nature, welcoming it and integrating it into a modern and human-sized urban profile, rich in infrastructures aimed at citizens of all ages; this liveability has led Gargazzone to be awarded the "Comune friend of children" award. The country has distant origins. Its symbol is the ancient Kröll tower (Kröllturm), a signal tower of medieval origin. Another historical building is the Church of San Giovanni Battista, of which there is a first mention in 1337. Among the main attractions of Gargazzone we find its beautiful natural swimming pool, a structure that extends for 12,000 square meters and hosts 2,300 square meters of water mirror. This pool does not use chemicals and is open during the summer.
