Porto Sant'Elpidio, among initiatives, events and the beauties of the Adriatic

Porto Sant'Elpidio - The seafront of Porto Sant'Elpidio extends for seven kilometers of beach, a wonderful panorama bathed by the Adriatic Sea. Seaside tourism here reaches levels of excellence (the local beaches have repeatedly obtained the prestigious Blue Flag) thanks also to the numerous free beaches. The village offers some valuable buildings such as the Church of the Santissima Annunziata (11th century after Christ), while in the locality Cova we find the Marian Sanctuary, dating back to the late 16th century.

The symbol of the city, the famous Clock Tower, is also from a similar period. The municipality is known for the multitude of events that take place there. In the summer, the "Salotto della Calzatura" takes place, a market that has as its theme this well-known excellence of manufacturing production in the Marche region. The territory of Porto Sant'Elpidio stands out as an ideal venue for sports competitions such as triathlon, hosting regional and national competitions. Here there is also a big party on the occasion of May Day, with an event that lasts for several days and reaches more than 150,000 participants, involving important artists.
