Murales di Campomarino - Of Arbëreshë minority, the inhabitants of the locality have Albanian origins. Escaped from the Ottoman invasion, they settled in the Molise hinterland, founding villages along the rivers. After a terrible earthquake that destroyed the port and the houses of Campomarino, the Albanians were called by the governors to rebuild and repopulate it.

It was the year 1468. The community strong in its traditions of work and family worship has handed down the language and customs which have remained intact until modern times. Returning from her life who emigrated to Milan, a painter, Liliana Corfiati, a native of Campomarino, paints her memories on the houses, which are strong, serene and communal.
