The path to get to the Le Mandre Bivouac in Rivamonte Agordino

Rivamonte Agordino - For those who love trekking and walks in the mountains, a nice route, although quite demanding, is the one that can be tackled in the town of Rivamonte Agordino and which leads to the Le Mandre bivouac. In all, about 700 meters of altitude difference are expected. The route is marked at the beginning by the presence of some signs, and then by the colors on the trunks along the way.

You can leave the car when you arrive at the bridge which is located along the road that goes from Belluno to Agordo, near the mining center of the Imperina Valley. From here begins the path on foot, which for the first stretch allows you to see many traces of human presence. There are the ruins of an old warehouse and other huts lost in the vegetation. As you go up, the presence of man is less evident and nature reigns supreme. The Bivouac le Mandre allows you to enjoy an extraordinary panorama and inside it is equipped to spend the night, with two beds and a stove, and even some wood left for the benefit of hikers.
