Cervere - In the Cuneo area there is a small pearl, after the Monviso valleys and not very far from the Po: Cervere. This town has ancient origins and flourished mainly in medieval times; during this period the Church of the Confraternity of Santa Croce was built. It was built during the reconstruction of the inhabited center (following the conflict between Astigiani and Carlo d'Angiò), to be then modified and finally completed over the centuries, up to the eighteenth century.

It is a complex consisting of a church, a bell tower, a sacristy and the parish theater. The most recognizable building in the town is the Tower of Monfalcone, a remnant of the ancient local castle: it dominates the surrounding space from the top of its 33 meters. Other noteworthy buildings are the Chapel of San Rocco and the Chapel of San Sebastiano. The event for which Cervere is famous throughout Piedmont (and beyond) is the Cervere Porro Fair: this vegetable is in fact an excellent local production, both for the quantity produced and for the quality.
