What to see in Termoli

Termoli - Our Termoli tour starts from the Belvedere Tower, where you can admire an enchanting view of the harbor. The next stop is the old village, reachable from the entrance of Porta Nuova, where you can stroll through the typical streets. One of these is 'a rejecelle' a very narrow alley where you can have fun. We continue with the visit of the Swabian castle, formed by a central body with 4 circular turrets; the upper part is separated from the structure and today houses the meteorological headquarters of the Air Force.

Next to the castle it is possible to see the Colombo promenade and the beach, and the Trabucco Celestino, a very characteristic ancient fishing machine. Next stop is the Romanesque Basilica of Santa Maria della Purificazione. Inside a small ecclesiastical museum; among the various works, the wooden statue of San Basso and the relics of the patrons San Timoteo and San Basso. We leave the old city and head towards the new city to stroll along Corso Nazionale and Piazza Vittorio Veneto, with the War Memorial. The last stop is the church of San Timoteo.
