The facade is made of local stone, inside there are wonderful Marian paintings. Luigi Stolchetti, a self-taught sculptor in marble and stone, has carved beautiful rocks making the road leading to the historic center of the village an open-air museum. In the heart of the historic center is the church of San Giovanni Battista with a particular entrance obtained from the bell tower which was once the gateway to the town. Inside the church there are frescoes from the sixteenth century. Inside the town hall there is a photographic exhibition by Francesco Fossa, shots that represent acts of daily life of the inhabitants. The typical dishes of the city are: snails with sauce, celery soup with cod, caniscioni of homemade pasta stuffed with vegetables, eggs or cheeses and cured meats. Letino is also a tourist destination suitable for sportsmen where in the Valesia del Vescovato it is possible to practice climbing and trekking along the paths. Near Lake Lentino it is possible to admire the cauto caves, a complex of natural cavities consisting of a branch still running through the water and a 'fossil' branch, which can be visited.
