The village was often prey to attacks by various personalities such as Filippo Da Marano and the Lords of Civitella. The Roccatani decided to build a castle on the highest spur of the rock so as to be able to defend themselves from future attacks. In addition to the aforementioned Church of S. Stefano, there are 3 other churches in the village: that of Sant'Antonio Di Padova, Santa Maria Assunta and San Sebastiano. The center has an ancient charm, narrow and characteristic alleys. The old part of the city is built with exposed stone that evokes ancient battles and suggestive distant customs and traditions. This village is inhabited by less than a thousand people who jealously guard their most ancient traditions, where you will find cordiality and a place to take walks in its villages. If you pass by these parts you can not miss a leap.
