On the via Latina between Rome and Benevento

Dugenta - Dugenta is a town that is part of agricultural tourism with excellences such as Aglianico and Falagnina wines and with olive growing and the production of the Annurca apple. Its history, however, comes from afar and the traces represent another tourist hub. Religious buildings not to be missed are the Church of Santa Maria in Pesole, with the meaning of elevation, with a beautiful wooden sculpture of the Madonna among the Angels (the Holy Feast is celebrated along the streets on August 15) and the Parish of Sant'Andrea, left after the earthquake, with the frescoes on the vault of the risen Jesus and the papier-mâché statue of the Immaculate Virgin.

These churches date back to 1100 as the Norman-Swabian Castle of which the structure remains with traps and tunnels that allowed the underground escape to other castles. Of a beautiful eighteenth-century architecture is the Palzzo Marotta, built by D'Angio as a military structure, the stables are very particular, and later used as a refuge during the world war.
