Marina di Ginosa is a seaside village in the Ionian arch of Taranto, very renowned for the beauty of its waters and its sandy beaches, reasons that have led this place to have several awards. A peculiarity of the Marina di Ginosa and its coastline is the presence of a pine forest of shrubs that surrounds the whole territory: these shrubs are part of the protected area 'Pinete dell'Arco Ionico'. There is also the small Salinella Lake, a natural oasis in which there is a coastal tower, originally created to defend and control the Ionian coasts from invasions by the Turks. Despite its small size, it is the main attraction of the place: several migratory species stop in these places, allowing you to practice bird watching.
