The fertility of this land, thanks to the proximity of Vesuvius, has always been Terzigno's success. Agricultural economy and viticulture are the driving vocations of the country. Various archaeological excavations have recently brought to light the ancient magnificence of these places. The finds found mostly come from Roman villas and are now preserved in the archaeological museum of Terzigno. The museum is very modern, organized and functional. The most valuable pieces concern frescoes, amphorae, pottery and daily agricultural tools. In the heart of Terzigno instead we find 18th century villas of the Vanvitellian school. They are located in the center of endless vineyards and in fact had the purpose of managing them and being a wine production center. Wine represents the most shining jewel of Terzigno. Lacryma Christi is an excellence exported all over the world. Also noteworthy is the quality of the local oil and cherry tomatoes. Last mention of the museum dedicated to the painter Salvatore Emblema who often portrayed the special colors of Terzigno in his canvases.
