Appennino Umbro-Marchigiano - The Umbrian-Marchigiano Apennines is a section of the central Apennines, between the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines to the north and the Abruzzese ones to the south. Its highest peak is Mount Carrier and is made up of five chains. Being a rather large geographical area, this territory includes municipalities belonging to different provinces.

Of the many villages, we will mention four: Castelraimondo, Pioraco, Fiuminata and San Severino Marche, all belonging to the province of Macerata, in the Marche region. Castelraimondo is a town of 4300 inhabitants that stands out for its white and blue color, and for its 37 meters high watchtower, represented in the town's coat of arms. Pioraco, smaller in size, is a town of about 900 inhabitants, known for its Museum of paper and filigree, while Fiuminata is a scattered town of about 1230 inhabitants, a lover of craftsmanship and known for its wrought iron work. also intended for the construction of statues. San Severino Marche, the largest and most populated of all (it counts 12,000 and passes inhabitants), is characterized by a hilly landscape typical of the Marche region. Within its historic center, it has numerous monuments and places of interest, such as its famous Piazza del Popolo, one of the most visited.
