Inside the castle, there is also a museum dedicated to General Bonaparte, who started his political and military rise in this municipality. In addition to various precious objects and uniforms, it houses a collection of tin and lead soldiers commissioned by Napoleon to document the events of the first campaign in Italy. Visiting this museum allows the tourist to relive not only the historical but also the geographical past of this area. In fact, this was precisely the intent of Napoleon Bonaparte: to make that past and its lands indelible, making a geographical, economic and social reconstruction of their characteristics at the end of the eighteenth century.
