An interesting and different monument from the others is the Castle of Barletta. It is a mix of different architectural stratifications due to the different dynasties that have dominated it. In addition to being a place of art and history, because it contains a bust of Frederick II of Swabia and the Sarcophagus of the Apostles, it is also the seat of the municipal library, the Civic Museum and rooms used for exhibitions and conferences. The Castle is a strategic point in city life, one of the cornerstones of the city: its gardens, its moat, its basements and its courtyard make this place unique and fascinating.
