Relaxation and nature in the valley of the Terme di Comano: the most evocative villages of Trentino

Valle delle terme di Comano - The Comano thermal baths are located in Trentino and have been known for centuries for their healing waters, indicated for the treatment of some skin diseases. The spa is located in a fraction of the Municipality of Lomaso, once the municipality of Comano. The waters cross the whole valley and several villages which therefore represent an excellent tour for a holiday dedicated to relaxation, well-being and nature.

The first village to see is San Lorenzo in Banale, here you can see the typical wooden mountain houses, picturesque and decorated with colorful flowers that contrast with the surrounding mountain. There are many farms and tourist companies that make the trip a pampering with paths that combine nature and thermal waters with local cosmetic and gastronomic products. Continuing towards the town of Stenico you can visit a museum surrounded by nature: the Bosco Arte Stenico. It is a mountain path that crosses the wood where it is possible to observe works of art made mainly of wood. From here you can then go up to the Rio Bianco waterfall for a breathtaking experience, or take the nature trails by bike. Worthy of note is the village of Balbido, called a painted village because it is rich in murals by great artists who every year contribute to the curious beauty of this place. Next to it the village of Rango, very suggestive and known for the Christmas markets that transform it into an enchanted village. Continue towards Fiavè to visit a UNESCO heritage archaeological site, the Palafitte Museum. The area has been declared as one of the first human settlements in the Alps and the park was created to house the many ancient finds and, in fact, the pile dwellings. The trip ends at the Terme di Comano, in the wellness center of the municipality.
