Marlengo - Marlengo is a small town in the Adige Valley. The toponym has been attested Marling was attested in the fifteenth century and derives from the pre-Roman term marra which means 'pile of stones'. The economy is mainly based on apple cultivation and tourism. The water works of excellence are the Waale di Marlengo 11 kilometers long; built in 1737 and finished in 1757 by Carthusian monks, the canals are still used to irrigate the fields.

Today the Roggia di Marlengo with its canals are among the most popular natural areas for trekking lovers and more. Overlooking the town is Monte San Virgilio which can be reached with the homonymous cable car built in 1912 from here it is possible to admire the Dolomites and the splendid surrounding valley. Through the woods you reach the black lake, on the mountain there is the church of San Virgilio whose bells have been ringing for over 1000 years. For wine lovers it is possible to do in Marlengo 'Il Sentiero del Vino' which starts from the town and passes through the social cellar and along the way it is possible to admire the tools for winemaking and also the stelae on which to read the history of wine and much more.
