Pietrasanta - Pietrasanta is one of the municipalities of the famous tourist area of Tuscany called 'Versilia'. It is a coastal area that attracts a luxury tourism, and which extends to the Ligurian Sea and is full of trendy clubs. Geographically, the municipality contains several attractions in addition to the sea, it is in fact located at the foot of the Apuan Alps and is also crossed by a beautiful pine forest, thus managing to offer the visitor various attractions.

The municipality of Pietrasanta is the largest in the area, as well as the most famous. It has Roman origins and boasts a great artistic tradition among the most valuable attractions we can mention: the Cathedral of San Martino, the city's cathedral, externally decorated in white marble, next to the bell tower in its own right which seems to have been the work of Michelangelo; the former church of Sant'Agostino, in Romanesque style, now home to art exhibitions, with the remains of frescoes dating back to the 14th-15th century; the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate, the oldest in the city, which houses a series of frescoes by Fernando Botero; Palazzo Moroni, seat of the local Archaeological Museum; the Museo dei Bozzetti, with over 700 sculptures by international artists; and Musa, the Virtual Museum of Sculpture and Architecture. One of the most famous hamlets of Pietrasanta is Valdicastello, the birthplace of the poet Giosuè Carducci.
