Castellinaldo - Castellinaldo is a town in the province of Cuneo. It is part of the geographical delimitation of the Roero. The large village maintained its function and prestige even in medieval times. Between 1427 and 1429 the Damiano family bought a good part of the fief from the Malabayla of Asti and built the present castle there. The church of San Servasio stands on a natural altar facing the vast woods that have always surrounded it, worthy of note is the interior of the church with the wonderful frescoes of 1581. Monument and symbolic belvedere thanks to the luminescence is the water tower . Castellinaldo is crossed by a series of paths that lead to the Roere ecomuseum, which can be traveled either on foot among the wines or by bicycle. The ancient and wild vegetation is preserved in the humid air bathed by spring water which is home to numerous aquatic animals. The garden hills represent a masterpiece of rural art. The economy is based on viticulture and fish fruit growing. The main wines produced with a biological vision are: Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Roero Superiore and Roero Arneis.
