Vicoforte

Vicoforte - We are in an area made up of villages, castles, hills and slopes of vines, we are in the Langhe del Monferrato, we are in Vicoforte, a small village located in the Langhe Monregalesi, in the province of Cuneo. At the foot of the village, in a valley stands the Regina Montis Regalis Sanctuary, a famous destination for art lovers and for the faithful, to visit the image of the Madonna and Child.

It has the largest elliptical dome in the world, built in 1500 and finished in 1800. In the vicinity of Vicoforte we also find the funicular designed by Giugiaro to connect and discover all the enchanted natural places in the area. Such as the Bossea Caves, among the most beautiful in Italy, covered with stalactites and stalagmites, or the Mondolè Ski area, with 105 km of slopes for days of fun together with relaxing moments at the Terme di Lurisia, with muds, baths and treatments. Obviously there is no lack of typical culinary specialties such as cheese, Raschera d'Alpeggio or wine, Barolo, Barbaresco and Asti.
