Cepagatti - Just over ten thousand inhabitants for a town where time seems to have stopped. Cepagatti is located in the province of Pescara and is a town with an ancient flavor. Narrow streets and paths make up the small historic center, which winds around the castle of Marcantonio and the Valignani. The castle can be visited not only for historical interests, but also because it houses the church of San Rocco. (continues below the video)
The castle is also home to a beautiful restaurant and from the tower you can admire the Majella. Very characteristic are some frescoes made by the artist Mira Cancelli Falasca in 1986 to relaunch the village. The works help to color the already characteristic houses by depicting scenes of daily life and the history of the town. Also worth mentioning is the characteristic Palio di San Rocco which is held the day after Ferragosto. On the same date Santa Lucia is also celebrated, and parades and religious representations are organized for both. The economy is mainly based on agriculture with typical products such as oil.
