Nature Culture

Aosta - Aosta is the regional capital of the Aosta Valley, seated at 583 meters above sea level, has 33,000 inhabitants. BC, as well as a bridge, a theater and an amphitheater all of Roman manufacture. San Orso, an articulated medieval complex with beautiful bell tower and cloister in Romanesque style, certainly deserves a visit. Noteworthy is the Romanesque Cathedral with the two apsidal bell towers; Gothic interior with stained glass windows from the 15th century and an interesting mosaic floor from the 12th-13th century. The regional Archaeological Museum with a rich numismatic collection and Roman finds is of enormous interest. Undoubtedly worthy is the tour of the Roman walls, dating back to Augustus with twenty two-storey quadrangular towers.
