Vimodrone: the town on a human scale a few kilometers from Milan

Vimodrone - Historically important as a place of supply for the large city and a fertile agricultural plain, Vimodrone is today a town on a human scale, a residential and productive area, crossed by the Naviglio Martesana. Much appreciated as a place to live for its large green presence, and for its proximity to Milan which, however, does not affect its tranquility.

Vimodrone develops, and continues to do so, in a futuristic perspective of a quiet and eco-sustainable city. Moving to the center of the city you can admire the MiNEC Tower, the work of the architect Mario Botta, and the contemporary church of God Trinity of love. The main square is Piazza Unità d'Italia, overlooked by the church of San Remigio, of a decidedly more classical style. Also worth visiting is the Church of Santa Maria Nova, the oldest in the area, also home to numerous cultural events, which houses paintings from the Lombard school of Gaudenzio Ferrari. Vimodrone therefore appears suspended between a past still present in the traditions, and a future that pushes the town to a constant improvement in the quality of life.
