Events in which the city's castle remains the protagonist, which has welcomed several guests and is today the symbol of the city, a cultural and historical place, imposing throughout the territory and now home to an important museum. The town is a 'walled city', walls that have been restored and which are a point of great historical interest. Among the other places worth visiting are Piazza Mazzini with the clock tower, still in operation with the original mechanism; the Palazzo della Loggia dating back to 1500 with the church of San Paolo next to it and also a museum inside; Villa Nani, Villa Pisani and Villa Contarini; the Cathedral of Santa Giustina, or old cathedral, with a characteristic stone facade in Romanesque style; and finally 'the way of the seven churches', a jubilee walk with various places of worship which is accessed by a Roman gate, also known as the 'holy gate', and ends with the oratory of San Giorgio, a destination for visitors and devotees on Valentine's Day. Monselice offers a rich gastronomic tradition, among the most valuable products: grapes, potatoes and cheese, as well as honey and wine.
