The sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso

The sanctuary was probably built on a previous chapel, you immediately notice the Baroque style, it is composed of a single nave and a splendid frescoed dome. Inside, the works of the painter Lorenzo Peracino, a native of Valsesia, stand out. The place is also famous for being the arrival point of the hiking route 'The valleys of faith', an itinerary that connects the minor sumptuaries of the Biella area.
