Discovering the Pelagie Islands

Lampedusa e Linosa - Lampedusa and Linosa are located in the archipelago of the Pelagie Islands, south of Tunis and Hammamet and about 60 miles from the Tunisian coast. Our tour starts from the Cala Madonna beach, where we find both free and equipped beaches, complete with bars, restaurants and parking lots. Continuing we stop in the splendid Sanctuary of Cala Madonna, a place rich in history and charm, where we can admire the small church carved into the rock, a small garden and a series of caves that once served to take shelter.

The next beach is that of Guitgia beach, we can define it as an equipped and easy to reach town. Among the most suggestive beaches is that of Cala Croce, which looks like a natural inlet that welcomes two beaches characterized by white sand and a beautiful turquoise and crystalline sea, moreover the Cala is well protected from the winds so the sea is almost always calm. On foot you can reach some particular beaches, such as Cala Galera whose sea has the particularity of remaining for tens of meters with a shallow seabed and then Cala Greca from which it is possible to reach the narrow tip. The next stop is the airport where there is a monument dedicated to deceased migrants. Then we can admire the center, full of bars, restaurants and shops of all kinds to be able to go shopping. Returning to the coast we admire Cala Sponza, Cala Maluk, the suggestive Grottacce where it is also possible to make exciting dives and Cala Francese, the Capo Grecale lighthouse, Cala Creta, Cala Pisana. At the end of the tour, a spectacular boat ride will once again allow you to admire the coast and in particular the Tabaccara Cave; finally, we walk along the path that leads to Cala Pulcino and continue towards Isola dei Conigli, an authentic natural wonder.
