Cinigiano, the hamlet of hamlets

Cinigiano - Cinigiano is an Italian town in the province of Grosseto, historically it was a sacred place for the Etruscans who believed it was the home of the God Jupiter. Among the manors of Cinigiano we find the Castello dei Vicarello built in 200, the ancient manor owes its splendor to careful restorations that are still done privately today. The monastery of the Siloe community is a prayer jewel of modern architecture. In Siloe, the rule of St. Benedict marks every moment of the community which gladly opens its doors to visitors in the wax of peace. Among the hills of Cinigiano we find Sasso d'Ombrone, built in correspondence with the homonymous river.
