Roseto degli Abruzzi: one of the seven sisters of Abruzzo, between sea and well-being

Roseto degli Abruzzi - Roseto degli Abruzzi is a small town in the province of Teramo overlooking the Adriatic Sea known mainly for seaside tourism. There are numerous accommodation facilities of different types and the promenade is also a nerve center of the city with restaurants, shops, clubs and a suggestive walkway decorated with fountains and sculptures.

The Adriatic cycle path also extends along the seafront area, also known as the Adriatic Green Corridor, or an inter-regional cycle path project that connects Trieste to Santa Maria di Leuca. Towering above the sea is the ancient village of the city, the hamlet of Montepagano, with the fascinating church of the Annunziata, whose dome is visible from the coast and the bell tower of Sant'Antimo right at the entrance. The historic center is a maze of alleys and offers a suggestive panorama. Finely decorated with frescoes and mosaics is the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Roseto. Among the civil architectures to visit deserve a mention: the Municipal Villa, home to the picture gallery, the library and the civic museum, Villa Clemente, a historic building, one of the first examples of the Abruzzo coast, Villa Paris and Villa Savini.
