A visit to Eastern Venice

Veneto Orientale - The Eastern Veneto (or Venice) belongs to the north-east area of the metropolitan city of Venice and includes 22 surrounding municipalities, among which the most important are Jesolo, Portogruaro and San Donà di Piave. The video offers a series of places that can be visited within this area, and suggests routes that can be traveled in different ways, from boat trips, with which you can visit the Caorle Lagoon, to simple walks.

A particularly attractive place is the historic center of Concordia Sagittaria, a small town, as well as the Roman archaeological excavations, which have always aroused great interest not only in foreign tourists, but also in us Italians. Not to be missed is the Lemene River, full of routes that allow you to visit it not only by boat, but by bicycle, thanks to the presence of a cycle path parallel to the river. The historic center of Portogruaro is undoubtedly one of the most popular destinations, precisely because of the importance of this center within the Eastern Veneto region, where history, nature and art meet. Finally, it is impossible not to mention the Venetian gastronomy, specialized in the production of fish and fine wines, but also of meats, cheeses and cold cuts.
