Fosdinovo - Fosdinovo is an Italian town of 4674 inhabitants and is located in the Lunigiana area, in Tuscany. Of medieval origins, it is a tourist destination also for its Castle, where Dante is said to have taken refuge. The authors of the video propose a short tour of the town and decide to start climbing, in order to reach the Fortress of Sarzana, which has maintained well over time, from which it is possible to enjoy a splendid medieval panorama, rich in vegetation.

The houses of the entire village are quite tall and pleasant in appearance, but the districts are narrow. Another attraction is the parish church, dedicated to San Remigio (protector of Fosdinovo), rich in statues and marbles. In the highest part of the village, it is possible to visit the castle, from which it is possible to admire a view of the Apuan Alps and the Ligurian Sea in the distance. It is the most imposing and best preserved castle in all of Lunigiana, and is equipped with rooms furnished with antiques and objects and a Renaissance refuge.
