The white night of Pineto

Pineto - We are at the White Night of Sport, in Pineto, in the province of Teramo in Abruzzo. The start of the evening, organized by the 'Antares Sporting Club' association, was preceded by the conference 'Sport and resilience', held at Villa Filiani which saw the delivery of the plaque of the White Night of sport for sporting merits to Simone De Maggi, Paralympic athlete of Teramo origins, captain of the national basketball team.

Around 9 pm the ribbon was cut and the streets of Pineto filled up: we counted about three thousand visitors, many of whom came from neighboring countries, excluding the two thousand athletes involved. The companies present performed throughout the city: from horse riding to artistic gymnastics, from judo to spinning, the various specialties performed throughout the night. There are also several entertainments, including the Fluo Festival, which with its powders has colored not only the visitors but also the whole of Pineto. The concert, at dawn, in Torre di Cerrano, said goodbye to everyone for next year.
