Angri - Angri is a town in the province of Salerno located at the foot of Vesuvius, is one of the most renowned from an agricultural-industrial point of view. Angri represents from the historical point of view an important meeting point, just think of the numerous excavations carried out and the finds that have been found. The mission of the Angrese is to let tourists know their history and the monuments of the city.

The Doria Castle with its gardens is one of the most visited monuments together with the Church of San Giovanni. The church of San Giovanni is a capital of treasures; inside we find the statues of the seven sleepers, of mythological characters who lived in the Roman era. The Doria Castle has its roots in the Aragonese Middle Ages. The complex has an elloge nettle façade with a circular tower equipped with merlons, surrounded by a large ring on two floors that surrounds and defends the body of the tower. Only a few years ago the castle, thanks to the 'Spectri al Castello' event, was reopened to the public. The event is a playful-educational path, which has the task of making children and tourists aware of the history of the castle, the Doria family and the city. Not to be forgotten is the Catalan art of which the city is not strongly influenced, it is not difficult to find arches, doors and monuments in Catalan style that adorn the city.
