Discovering Iseo and its lake

Iseo e Lago d'Iseo - Iseo is a town of about 9000 inhabitants, located in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The main attraction for which it is famous is the lake which takes its name from the city itself. As we can see in the video, the tour starts right from the lake, showing us the splendor of the same and the presence of a landing area for the helicopter rescue.

The walk continues showing us the characteristic houses of the place, the Town Hall and the typical narrow streets that immediately make us notice that the village still retains its medieval conformation today. Then we find the Church of Santa Maria del Mercato, the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve and the Oldofredi Castle, now owned by the municipality and inside which there is a library. Among the other attractions we find the central Piazza Garibaldi, the Pieve di Sant'Andrea and again in the historic center we find Piazza Corna Pellegrini which houses the Church of Santa Maria in Silvia and the aforementioned Sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve. It should not be forgotten that along the shores of Lake Iseo it is possible to admire the splendor of three natural reserves, namely Torbiere del Sabino, Pyramids of Zone and Valley of the cold, real natural paradises where you can choose different hiking trails.
