The religious spirit is strong and finds its maximum expression on November 23 for the feast of the patron saint San Clemente, first Pope and martyr. The Parish Church is dedicated to San Clemente with remarkable statues inside and the particular onion dome. Interesting is the Church of San Michele Arcangelo for the columns on the facade with Corinthian-style capitals. The architectural complex of the Abbey of Santa Maria del Plesco, dating back to 1100, with a remarkable central cloister, is remarkable. In 1600 the Marquis Sessale, a lover of the theater, collected various canvases of commedia dell'arte with recitation as a subject in the manuscript 'Scenari Casamarciano'. In the wake of this love for the theater, the national theater festival has been held in Casamarciano since 2011. The economy is rural with notable excellences: oil, wine, tomato, nougat, hazelnuts and the aforementioned sugared almond.
