Palazzo Rosso is a beautiful example of eighteenth-century architecture and is also known as Palazzo del Municipio. On the same square there are many buildings, such as the imposing Palazzo Ghilini, seat of the province and prefecture, and the Palazzo di Poste e Telegrafo, an expression of rational architecture. Palazzo Cuticca, not far away, is the seat of the Conservatory. On the side we can find the Cathedral, with its imposing 106-meter bell tower (the second highest in Italy), which stands on Piazza del Duomo. Galleria Guerci is a very important meeting point of city life.
