The Eagle is reborn

L' Aquila - L'Aquila, the capital of Abruzzo, located in the center of the Conca Aquilana, is known to many for the sad seismic event that occurred in 2009, which created death and despair. But today we want to remember it for its beauty and look forward to the future. This year, for the mid-August there was no shortage of tourists who were more numerous than in previous years since until two years ago the new city was still under reconstruction.

But despite this, tourism was never lacking, even during the phase immediately following the earthquake. L 'Aquila has hosted many tourists who have also come to bring their solidarity. Today the city is almost completely rebuilt. There will therefore be no shortage of attractions to see. During the mid-August 2021 it was possible to visit various museums, including the Munda, the national museum of Abruzzo which remained open throughout the day, while the Maxi, the national museum of the arts of the twenty-ninth century, remained open from 12 to 20. It was also possible to visit the theater but unfortunately not the amphitheater. The eagle is slowly rising thanks to the contribution of tourism.
