Immersed in nature in Cison di Valmarino

Cison di Valmarino - We are in Cison di Valmarino, in the Treviso area, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and from 2019, an orange flag awarded by the Italian Touring Club. We begin our visit starting from the historic center where we find Piazza Roma, full of monuments such as the town hall and the Loggia theater. A few meters from Piazza Roma, we venture along a beautiful nature trail along the Rujo stream, called 'the way of the mills'.

Passing through the Borgata delle Caprette Mugnai, we arrive along 'the water route' inside the magical wood. During the walk, you will be able to observe restored wash houses, fountains, locks, ancient mills and the 'Magic Tree', a centuries-old oak and symbol of the village. Along the 'Bujon Del Gal' path, still inside the Bosco delle 'Penne Mozze', we cross the Church of San Marco, in the Piazzale degli Alpini, where there is also a monumental area, in memory of the Alpine soldiers who fell in war. Along the 'Via del Diavol', we reach the slopes of Monte Castello where we can only stop to admire the majesty of the Castle of Cison, the CastelBrando.
