Between nature and music in Noceto

Noceto - We have reached Noceto, in the province of Parma, where the mighty quadrilateral male of the fortress, the Conti San Vitale Castle, stands out immediately on the horizon. Built on a structure dating back to the twelfth century, the Castle, since 2005 has become the Castle of Music, hosting the Museum of the ancient Disco and the entire collection of Parma violin making.

On the main floor, we visit the two entire museum collections of orchestral symphonic material: about two thousand volumes between 33.45 and 78 tours, museum collections entirely restored and therefore digitally accessible to the public. From symphonic material, we come to large collections of classical and jazz music. The other great museum collection that we have the opportunity to admire is that of the violin making of Maestro Renato Scrollavezza. The castle also offers the opportunity to admire the Maestro's instruments and has an area set up for the study of ancient music, conferences and record productions. Maestro Niccolò Paganini also passed through here. A Castle that contains the whole history of music; you cannot reach Noceto without visiting it.
