Nature Practical information

Pale di San Martino - The Pale di San Martino (also called 'Gruppo delle Pale') is the largest mountain group of the Dolomites, with about 240 km² of surface, located between eastern Trentino and Veneto. The routes to visit the Pale are certainly not for beginners, but they are very suggestive! From San Martino it is possible to take the Colverde cableway to climb up to the top; once arrived, without excessive effort, it is possible to reach the Cima Rosetta (2743m), from which it is obviously possible to enjoy breathtaking views! From here it is advisable to descend to the Rosetta Refuge (2578m) for refreshment. Going further down towards the Pradidali Refuge (2278m) through the path 707, it is possible to enjoy breathtaking views immersed in a lunar environment. From here, following paths 715 and 702, you return to the parking lot of the Colverde cable car. The route lasts a total of about 6h30.
