Locorotondo is less crowded but equally beautiful. Among the alleys articulated in stairways, arches and turrets, walking up to the belvedere consolidates the first impression. The labyrinth of narrow streets decorated with plants and flowers leads to the Cathedral, dedicated to St. George the Martyr, in Baroque style and full of frescoes, which is exactly in the center. Martina Franca is an agricultural town and the historic center invites you to visit the Basilica of San Martino dating back to 1700 consisting of three vaulted naves supported by marble columns. Saying goodbye to her at sunset that colors the historic palaces orange, it is decided to have dinner in Cisternino in one of the butchers that in the evening set up outdoor tables to serve dinner, with excellent bombette and tomato sausages.
