The Church of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the main religious buildings, which preserves the blood of San Lorenzo, patron saint of the town, who melts on the occasion of the day dedicated to him on 10 August. It is also one of the oldest buildings in the country, dating back to the Middle Ages. That is the time of the birth of the village, visible testimony in the streets and palaces, and also in the so-called 'mullioned windows', the medieval shops with the counter overlooking the street. Among the significant events is the Agriculture Festival which takes place in summer and is linked to the display of local products of excellence.
