A system of gates leads the water to the wash house and to the kitchen, kept in its frugal and poor art aspect. Having been inhabited until the 1900s, most of the furnishings and collections have gone missing. However, you can visit the coat of arms in the Hall of the column and the frescoes in the Palazzetto, made with refined decorations and written in Latin. Center of culture, it was often Petrarch's place of stay, on his way to Bergamo, where he had a goldsmith friend. You too can climb the spiral staircase to admire the view from the window of the Keep, as was the custom of the poet. All the rooms of the Castle are public and revalued for the community who can visit the Library and the multimedia museum in the Hall of the large wooden press. Here we get to know the tools of peasant culture and listen to Bernabò Visconti conversing with Colleone's portrait.
