Pratovecchio - The Romanesque parish church was rebuilt on the ruins of a pagan temple in 1152 by Alberico, the parish priest. Local craftsmen and Lombard workers of the French school participated in the construction. The light of the church is extraordinary, the mullioned windows of the apse accentuate the color of the local sandstone, generating a warm and intimate tone.

Always devoted to welcoming pilgrims, the Brotherhood welcomes everyone or anyone who wants to join in prayer or reflection. The decorations of the capitals characteristic of the Middle Ages recall it, with figures of animals or devils, symbols of the human dark sides that surrender to the divine with artistic creativity. This goal of creating communities is preserved, where each individual grows deep inside, exploring every fold. Here you can stop for a few hours or a few days, alone or as a couple, to live with simplicity, join in prayer or work the land, a holy land for everyone and free for everyone. In the farmhouse we have lunch and dinner together or we gather by the fireplace, inside ourselves and the warmth of the fire on the palms of our hands.
