The desert of the Mediterranean

Arbus- Dune di Piscinas - Arbus is a town located on a ridge of Monte Linas, in Sardinia and is mainly known for its seaside resorts on the Costa Verde. The main one which is also the most famous. it is the beach of Piscinas, which is in effect one of the largest dune systems in Europe. As we can see from the drone footage, the magnificent Costa Verde is a succession of golden sandy beaches and headlands overlooking the sea.

This kind of location is suitable for tourists who love to relax in the midst of nature, it is not a chic destination and therefore no resort; Arbus is in fact a sparsely populated town. Wonderful are the expanses of sand deserts where we find trees shaped by the wind. The Piscinas beach is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and is set in the last strip of a desert that stretches for km. The high sand dunes recall the magic of the Sahara deserts even if here the vegetation is obviously typical of the Mediterranean climate and moreover, the view of a crystalline sea stands out from which it is impossible not to be fascinated.
